Current research objectives:
Investigation of the extraction methods of polyphenols and flavonoids from bee products and analysis of the content of polyphenols and flavonoids in bee products.
Study of the antioxidant activity of polyphenolic fractions obtained from bee products.
In vitro and in vivo study of the biological effect of polyphenolic fractions focused on:
- burn wound healing process
- cell survival of selected tumor types
- antiatherosclerotic, cardioprotective and hepatoprotective effects
